A great resource for all especially those with learning difficulties.

I found this link this morning and thought what a fantastic idea.

I thought these would be particularly useful if you have a child with learning disabilities such as Autism, as visual aids are incredibly important.  Maybe you don’t home school your child but helping them get their homework or books organised is still needed and these card would be great for that, even using this to plan out their school timetable for they day showing them exactly what will happen.

I am planning on using these for my younger children, I am teaching them to read, and what better way to help them get familiar with certain words then making them part of their everyday routine.  These cards can also help them become more responsible, if they know whats coming next they can collect their own books and resources for each lesson!!!!

They seem very simple to make, ideally you need a laminator, i think if you home school one of these is essential you can pick them up very cheaply.

This laminator from Asda costs just £8.00 The laminating pouches are £2.00 for 25 so not a bad price at all.

In the same isle you will also find these fantastic Sellotape squares and circles costing around £2.00 each we have found them to be invaluable in our home schooling class great for these task cards and also for creating weather and rewards charts etc
